- Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the organization's reputation and visibility.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage.
- Write press releases, pitches, and other materials to disseminate news and information about the organization.
- Monitor media coverage and social media channels to assess public sentiment and identify opportunities and risks.
- Design and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees and promote a culture of transparency and alignment.
- Develop content for internal newsletters, emails, and intranet platforms to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and initiatives.
- Organize and facilitate company-wide meetings, town halls, and other events to foster open communication and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with department heads and executives to cascade information effectively throughout the organization.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson and point of contact for media inquiries during crisis situations.
- Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to ensure a timely and coordinated response to emergencies or reputational threats.
- Provide media training and guidance to key stakeholders to prepare them for effective communication in high-pressure situations.
- Create compelling written and visual content for various communication channels, including press releases, blog posts, social media posts, and internal presentations.
- Ensure all communication materials adhere to brand guidelines and reflect the organization's values and messaging.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience 5+ Years in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop creative communication strategies.
- Experience managing crisis communication and handling sensitive issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and media monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in public relations and internal communication.
