Job DescriptionThe Senior ETL Engineer is part of a team responsible for the architecture, development and maintenance of a companywide Business Intelligence System that provides business insight through enterprise reporting to decision-makers at all organization levels and functions by delivering accurate, timely and actionable information.

One of the main responsibilities of this position is to apply ETL experience and data warehousing principles to ensure complete, reliable, and secure data delivery to business stakeholders.

The position reports to the Director of Business Intelligence.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):Design and develop advanced ETL jobs and routines to process data from multiple sources into a centralized warehouseAdminister, maintain, and performance-tune Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud workflows.

Communicate with system users worldwide from key business groups, including Finance, Sales, Tech Support, Human Resources, Consulting, Education and Marketing to gather project requirements and business insight, perform feasibility analysis and manage expectations.

Engineers are responsible for communicating with project sponsors and stakeholders during the entire life cycle of a reporting project.

A key measure of success in this position will be to timely and accurately meet project milestones and deliverables as agreed upon all key itemsPrepare ad-hoc queries against different data source systemsProvide detailed documentation of enterprise reporting projectsDefine, implement and administer data security as appropriateApply Quality Assurance methods to ensure that information provided to business users is accurate and actionableContribute to periodic projects related to the maintenance of reporting system components outside of regular business hoursPrepare Dashboards and Reports for business users.

Job Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field3+ years Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica CloudSQL programming knowledge in MS SQL ServerExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with MicroStrategy or other Business Intelligence applications is a plusPython language skills is a plusKnowledge of data warehousing principles is a plusStrong aspiration to learn new technologiesStrong written and verbal communicationProactive and CreativeAbility to multitask in a dynamic environmentAbility to work in a distributed team environmentWilling to work 9am – 6pm ET (US Hours)
