Job Overview:

This role involves supervisors to manage and coordinate projects, oversee installation and commissioning activities along with managing site team and subcontractors and ensuring safety practices at work place.

Main Responsibilities:

• Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the work area to identify and correct potential safety hazards.
• Enforcement of Safety Policies: Enforce adherence to safety protocols and procedures established by regulatory agencies and company policies.
• Training and Education: Conduct toolbox talk and provide safety training to employees and contractors on safe working practices and procedures.
• Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents or incidents to determine their root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Safety Documentation: Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents. Implementation of Safety compliance adherence and Daily toolbox talk with the installation vendor.
• Safety Equipment Management: Ensure availability and proper use of safety equipment like helmets, harnesses, goggles, etc.
• Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios like fires, chemical spills, or injuries.
• Coordination: Coordination between contractor & the client and to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address safety concerns and implement safety measures.
• Safety Meetings: Conduct regular safety meetings with site team and management to discuss safety issues and improvements.
• Review: Material verification as per the approved makes and PDI checklist and review of storage conditions for material and installation activities.
• Planning: Work-front allocation and site planning by witnessing all functionality tests conducted by the vendor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from a recognized institute.
• 4-6 years of experience in supervision and site coordination of MEP projects , electrical installation, construction activities in industries or similar field is preferred.
• Understanding of Safety regulations and codes set forth by relevant authorities (OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey Safety procedures and concerns.
• Ability to identify Safety risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
• Keen observation skills to spot potential hazards and ensure compliance with Safety standards.
• Capability to lead and motivate teams towards a culture of Safety and compliance.

Skills:

Well-versed in preparing Gantt chart, project trackers, MS Office, Excel, PMS applications for documentation and reporting.
