    Description

    1.Controlsall project/engineering activities for new business and engineeringchanges for existing products.

    2.Establisheslabor and method standards for all processes in theplant.

    3.Coordinatesactivities of engineers to ensure adherence to timelines.

    4.Managesand directs the work of maintenancetechnicians.

    5.Ensuresall proper documentation and standard engineering processes arefollowed.

    6.Ensuresengineering is pro-active and responsive to needs of the plantproduction lines.

    7.Worksto minimize and maintain engineering costs in theplant.

    8.Interfaceswith customers to communicate problems and solutions whilemaintaining a high standard of quality.

    9.Managesspecial projects as requested by the GeneralManager.

    10.Assess,train and develop subordinates.

    11.Responsiblefor all customer specific requirements where applicable, includingthose referenced in the QMS manuals.

    12.Frequentcommunication with all levels of management, corporate supportgroups, Quality Assurance, and plantpersonnel.

    13.Frequentcommunication with customers is necessary.

    14.Responsiblefor related safety requirements.

    15.Performother duties as assigned.
