Legal Counsel- Middle East Region - Mumbai, India - Vahura

Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting EPC agreements and participating in negotiation discussions. To succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating EPC contracts, JVs/teaming arrangements/alliances, and corporate structures to reduce external expenditure and facilitate the company's ability to gain work.
• Drafting and negotiating confidentiality undertakings and parent company and bank guarantees to reduce external expenditure.
• Legal advisory on a broad range of legal and commercial issues to minimize external spend and protect the organization's interests.

Qualifications

• LLB degree and must be eligible to practice as solicitor/ attorney in India
• 4-6 years' legal work experience.
• Must have prior experience in Energy/ Power/ Oil & Gas or Infrastructure industry.
• Must have experience of working with a global team.
