Job Title: Delphi Developer

Work mode- Hybrid - Pune / Chennai/ Bangalore

Role: Contract

Role Specifics:

• Delphi developer is responsible for complete end to end application development includes UI, Business and Data layer. Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities. Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.
• Primary focus will be on the latest Delphi technology with Delphi-11 and Delphi 7 are mandatory, ADO, REST API's.
• Will be working with other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, next generation design, and creating quality products is essential.

Experience : Minimum: 8+ years. Required: Software Development – 6+ years in Delphi and SQL Server.

Must Have - Skill Set and Experience Requirements :

• Solid working knowledge of programming languages: Delphi, Database, ADO, Delphi-11 and Delphi 7 are mandatory, XML.
• Extensive experience of Delphi classes/functions , VCL library and Dev Express library are mandatory.
• Familiarity with Delphi component architecture and development of package libraries is mandatory.
• Familiarity with RESTull , JSON component architecture
• Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Design , Programming, and Analysis..
• Expertise in using debugging tools to analyze software defects and impacts of changes.
• Familiarity with version control systems - Perforce.
• Extensively worked and in depth knowledge of relational database - Working Knowledge of MS SQL Server (Query Analyzer, Profiler, Traces). T-SQL, and a knowledge of compatibility between different versions from 2012 through 2016
• Windows administration, know how to install, configure, upgrade Windows, how to control applications and how to secure data.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and perform under time constraints and remotely.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Solid working knowledge of Perforce, JIRA
• Solid experience working in Agile environment

Good to have Skills:

• Experience with C# ,.Net core and ASP.NET.
• Experience working with Apache ActiveMQ/Artemis message broker and Apache Camel, under Karaf
