    Senior Video Editor – Coala Studio

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), ads, and branded content.
    • Ensure seamless storytelling, pacing, and transitions while maintaining brand consistency for multiple accounts.
    • Work closely with creative directors, strategists, and designers to bring concepts to life.

     

    Team Leadership & Project Management

    • Lead and mentor a team of video editors, ensuring quality and timely execution of deliverables.
    • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and creative expectations are met.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to junior editors, ensuring consistency and excellence in final outputs.

     

    Storytelling & Creative Direction

    • Develop strong narratives that align with client goals and marketing strategies.
    • Incorporate creative storytelling techniques to make videos engaging, impactful, and conversion-focused.
    • Stay updated on video trends, editing styles, and best practices for digital marketing.

     

    Technical Expertise

    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and other industry-standard editing tools.
    • Knowledge of color correction, motion graphics, audio mixing, and sound design.
    • Optimize video formats and exports for different platforms while maintaining the highest quality.

     

    Requirements

    • 5-7 years of experience in a digital agency, managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
    • Proven ability to manage a team of video editors, ensuring high-quality and on-time deliverables.

     

    Creative & Storytelling Skills

    • Exceptional storytelling abilities, with experience crafting engaging and persuasive video narratives.
    • Ability to turn raw footage into compelling brand stories, ads, and short-form content.

     

    Project & Team Management

    • Ability to lead and manage a video editing team in a fast-paced, agency setting.
    • Strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

     

    Language & Communication

    • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, designers, and strategists.
