Description

The Program Manager will oversee the 12-month modular PGPDM program, aimed at professionals working in or intending to work for the social sector. The mission is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of development sector organizations by building capacity and promoting a more inclusive and sustainable society.

• Responsibilities include admissions, academic program management, inter-departmental and external coordination, and supporting the PGPDM program chairperson and office.

Admissions:

• Plan and coordinate the admissions campaign, onboard admitted candidates, build relationships with industry bodies, and secure sponsorships.
• Assist in preparing promotional materials, collaborate with the central communication department, and participate in industry events to promote the program.

Academic Program Management:

• Oversee operations from admissions to convocation, prepare the program calendar, distribute participant guidelines, and ensure compliance.
• Guide batch coordinators in session planning, handle queries, evaluate assignments, and monitor academic standards.
• Ensure timely fee payments, plan and execute procurement contracts, and manage alumni relations.
• Organize events such as inauguration, mentors meet, alumni meet, farewell, field visits, and social sector events.

Inter-Departmental and External Coordination:

• Coordinate with administration and infrastructure departments for admin and infrastructure requirements.
• Collect course outlines from faculty members, coordinate with visiting faculty, and procure reading material.
• Prepare for and coordinate with the institute's convocation team and other program offices for successful program conduct.

Requirements:

• Ten years of experience, with minimum 5 years running a program at a reputed institute in India.
• Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Management/Studies, MBA, or related disciplines from premier institutions.
