    Tetra Consultants is a company that offers management consulting services and is based in Singapore.

    Our corporate advisory division focuses on assisting with international business establishment, financial license applications, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate banking solutions. Additionally, our accounting and tax department provides services like international tax planning, bookkeeping, and tax compliance.

    With our wide array of services, we aim to be the go-to solution for our global clientele.

    We are in search of a Junior Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team. The ideal candidate should have previous internship or work experience in Compliance and due diligence fields. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided during the initial 3 months as you acquire the necessary competencies and skills for the role. This position is remote.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform in-depth KYC due diligence checks for both new and existing clients.
    • Validate client identification and documentation for onboarding purposes.
    • Evaluate client risk profiles, research, and report potential issues to senior compliance management.
    • Conduct periodic background screenings on existing clients as needed and in accordance with policies.
    • Identify compliance concerns requiring further investigation or follow-up actions.
    • Offer guidance to clients on economic substance, UBO, and other compliance obligations.
    • Conduct regular enhanced due diligence on clients considered high-risk.
    • Maintain precise client records and manage essential administrative duties.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and changes in regulations.
    • Contribute to the development of compliance protocols and procedures.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers, Accounts team, and Renewal team.
    Qualifications:
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Preferred 1 year of professional experience in a similar role, but not mandatory.
    • Fresh graduates with relevant internship exposure and quick learning abilities are encouraged to apply.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    Language:
    • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and knowledge of an additional language is beneficial.
    • Understanding of KYC and AML regulations is advantageous.
