    Job Title: Direct Tax Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:


    • TDS Management:
      • Ensure timely and accurate deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
      • Prepare and maintain TDS reconciliation statements and certificates.
      • Liaise with stakeholders to gather necessary information for TDS compliance.
    • Corporate Tax Compliance:
      • Oversee preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, including income tax and related forms.
      • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
      • Assist in tax audits and manage correspondence with tax authorities.
    • Tax Planning and Strategy:
      • Analyze corporate transactions and develop tax-efficient strategies.
      • Identify opportunities for tax savings and effective resource allocation.
      • Collaborate with the finance team to align tax planning with overall business objectives.
    • Reporting and Documentation:
      • Prepare detailed tax documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
      • Maintain comprehensive records of all tax-related transactions and communications.
    • Advisory Role:
      • Provide guidance on tax implications for new business initiatives and projects.
      • Educate and support other departments on tax-related matters.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (master's degree or CPA preferred).
    • 3 years of experience in direct tax, with a focus on TDS and corporate tax.
    • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including recent changes.
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
