We are an Indian -Italian JV, established in 1988. We produce additives and chemicals for PVC, and Leather industry at our most modern plant in JIND -Haryana. We are seeking an experienced person with operating knowledge of fire and electrical safety in chemical/petrochemical plants. Besides a remunerative package, opportunities for professional growth will be ensured.

Objectives of this role:

· Ensure chemical compatibility standards in various warehouses.

· Review petrochemical storage tanks design and venting system.

· Review firefighting equipment, hydrants, and alarm systems.

· Review electrical safety and implement regular thermography.

· Monitor areas of spills and leaks of tanks, reactors, and pipelines.

· Implement preventive maintenance of critical equipment that can pose a fire or health risk.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/ petrochemical engineering or a degree in occupational health and safety.
• 5 + years of experience in a safety-related role, in a chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
• Knowledge of Indian safety laws and regulations applicable to the industry.
• Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management
