    We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team at Geojit Technologies.

    About the Role

    • This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating high-level test cases for mobile and web applications.
    • They will work closely with developers and the product team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years' experience in web and mobile application testing, with a deep understanding of how mobile applications work.
    • They must have demonstrated hands-on experience in functional (system, regression, smoke) testing and evaluated product code according to specifications.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and create high-level test cases for mobile and web applications.
    • Work closely with developers and the product team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
    • Evaluate product code according to specifications.
    • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
    • Report bugs and errors to the development teams.
    • Help troubleshoot issues.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
    • Will be working on an automation framework.
    • Participate in Product & Project's kick-off meeting.
    • Read, understand, and review software design specifications and product requirements.
    • Basic Knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries is an added advantage.
    • Work with scrum team.
    • Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when necessary.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, information technology.
    • 2-4 years' experience in web and mobile application testing.
    • Reviewed and analyzed system specifications.
    • Have a deep understanding of how mobile applications work.
    • Must have demonstrated hands-on experience in functional (system, regression, smoke) testing.
    • Evaluated product code according to specifications.
    • Worked in an Agile environment.
    • Knowledge of Azure.
    • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Be a team player with a strong team spirit.
