Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Manager who has 7+ years' experience in PowerBI. Responsible for managing all BI – Advanced Visualization related client asks and support the team for the overall project goal.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) within the team, creating and optimizing PowerBI dashboard performance through backend query enhancements and ETL best practices.

• Should be proficient in structuring and organizing data to meet specific business needs and facilitate efficient retrieval and analysis.

• Efficiently carry out data preparation/data modelling necessary for the visualization purposes.

• Create efficient star or snowflake schema structures to meet specific business needs.

• Translate business requirements into clear ER diagrams for visualizing data structures.

• Performance Monitoring, fine-tuning, and optimization of dashboards.

• Experience in publishing and sharing the dashboards, scheduling data refreshes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

• Good to have experience in creation of data marts or data warehouses.

• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices and implement them in our projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Should be able to lead a multi-client PowerBI pod and would be responsible for delivering PowerBI based solutions to clients. They would also be expected to impart knowledge to junior members in the team and advance the level of this practice at MathCo.

• Act as a thought leader and be able to consult with clients and advise them on visualization and technology best practices when it comes to dashboarding using Power BI.

• Should be able to understand industry context and identify the right use cases and KPIs that would be most impactful for the business.

Skills

• Proficiency in PowerBI and data visualization best practices.

• Understanding of dashboarding principles.

• Understanding of Power BI Data Modeling and associated best practices.

• Proficient in DAX and Power Query.

• Experience with designing complex dashboards taking advantage of all PowerBI functions.

• Certification in Power BI or related field is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

B.E/B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. (Mathematics, Statistics)
