    Kruti Retail Ventures LLP, also known as Kruti Coffee, is a social enterprise established in 2013 by three medical professionals. The company aims to impact coffee growers of Koraput in Odisha, primarily tribal and organic coffee growers. Kruti Coffee follows the Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid model and incubates various impact models to make coffee grown in Koraput sustainable for the producers and everyone involved in the value chain. In addition to coffee production, Kruti Coffee has also started a retail chain of coffee houses in India.

    Job Overview

    We are looking for a skilled and experienced Continental Chef to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Continental Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of continental dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the culinary industry. The job location is Brahmapur, Odisha, India. This is a full-time position.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role
    • In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine
    • Ability to create and execute menu plans
    • Strong cooking and food preparation skills
    • Good understanding of kitchen equipment and tools
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and quality
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Valid food handling and safety certification

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Prepare and cook continental dishes according to set recipes and standards
    • Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes
    • Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create and develop new dishes
    • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations
    • Train and mentor junior chefs
    • Manage food waste and minimize kitchen losses
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service
    • Stay updated on current culinary trends and techniques
