Role Description:

This inquisitive, and self-motivated manager will be charged with the creation, maintenance, and evolution of data acquisition and control software for the company's ATE's and Product's for Clients and for Internal Use.

This role requires intimate Project Management in LabVIEWTM graphical programming language with emphasis in data acquisition and Real Time Control with an orientation toward user interface design and Device Communication- UDP/TCP IP/RS 232/RS 485.

Should manage a team of certified LabVIEW developers (3-4) and mentoring them

Tasks and responsibilities:

· The successful candidate will be responsible for the design & delivery of test software solutions to satisfy project requirements

· Perform complex LabVIEW code designs and system integration services

· Perform Top Level LabVIEW Software Architecture Design related activities for modularity, reuse and addition of requirements

· Experience in Additional Programming Environments, such as C, C++, Matlab, Java and SQL, along with knowledge in PID Control and Signal Processing will be useful.

· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects, simultaneously.

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

· Plan and Ensure resource availability and allocation

· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, and report on project progress to the management

· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

· Measure team performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques

· Report and escalate to management as needed

· Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders

· Perform risk management to minimize potential risks

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - SRS, SDD, etc. as required

· Preparation and Understanding of Wiring/Harnessing Diagrams will be preferred

· Ability to undertake/guide on troubleshooting with Software and Hardware related issues

· Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

· Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels

· Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

· Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

· Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

· Use and continually develop leadership skills

· Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Atleast CLD or CLA Certification is mandatory.

· 6 - 8 years full-time experience with LabVIEWTM

· Engineering degree in EE, CS, TC, IE or equivalent relevant work experience

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

· Excellent analytical skills, with Proven ability to solve problems quickly and creatively

· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

· Demonstrated experience to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

· Experience and knowledge of data acquisition best practices and use of data acquisition hardware NI and third party

· Ability to communicate clearly with engineers and customers

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Prior experience in hardware-based technology and/or manufacturing business

· Experience integrating LabVIEWTM-created software with external databases and the internet

· Experience interfacing LabVIEWTM-created software with factory automation equipment

· Knowledge of GUI programming languages other than LabVIEWTM

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

· Good foundational and working knowledge of Analog Electronics Design, Digital Electronics Design, Signal Processing Concepts, Embedded Electronics Design including DSPs, FPGAs, ARM Processors and RF Systems Design.

· Good foundations and experience in programming in C and other embedded programming environments.

· Good familiarity with the usage of various test and measurement equipment like DSO's, MSO's, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators etc.

· Projects done in Acoustics and Acoustic Signal Processing will be considered a plus.
