Read blueprints and drawingsfollow plans to installinfrastructure
Operate weldingequipment to cut shape bend and join metal asrequired
Weld test and inspectwelded surfaces and structures ensure structuralintegrity
Finish welds usingappropriate technique andequipment
Maintain equipment in acondition that does not compromisesafety
Follow all Health andSafety and compliance procedures and reportaccordingly
Requirements
Civilengineering graduate with verifiable experience of 5 years requiredworking on the same roleTIGexperience
Proven experience andunderstanding of Health and Safety and the hazards of operating onconstruction sites.
A good levelof physical fitness due to the physical nature of therole
Able to pass a Drugtest
A solutionfocused attitudewith strong forward planning andadaptability
Must have a goodlevel of spoken and writtenEnglish.
Have good customerrelation skills remaining calm and controlled even when thepressure is on.
Have a cleandriver slicense
