    Role:

    Rystad Energy is looking for enthusiastic individuals to strengthen our Technology team. As a Python developer, you will assist our product teams in realizing new products and improvements and enable our consulting teams to make project deliveries. We are looking for a candidate with master/bachelor (or similar) within Computer science-related topics and who is enthusiastic about data science ecosystem along with good understanding on the backend side, and has a "can-do" attitude .

    Requirements

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Passionate coder with 2-4 years of application development experience with python-based web servers
    • Backend API creation using Tornado / Django / Flask / FastAPI.
    • Strong experience working with RESTful APIs.
    • Working experience with Crawlers/Scraping
    • Strong debugging, problem solving, and investigative skills.
    • Self-starter who can work independently.
    • Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.
    • Ability to optimize applications for performance and scalability

    Additional qualifications that are desirable:

    • Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
    • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems
    • Understanding of Agile methodologies
