Description

SUMMARYQA Engineer III role who takes care of QA UI Automation of all the Enhancement & Regression requests across the BEST organization.

We are working on multiple projects and need a replacement as it would impact the deliverables.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate closely with Product Managers on stories and requirements.

Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.

Able to gather existing manual test cases in the project and automate them to achieve efficiencyIdentify, conduct feasibility study and recommend suitable automation technologies for the projectEnsure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behaviorWorking knowledge of SQL & relational database technology.

Proactively seeks and obtains guidance from more experienced team members and uses these opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge.

Identifies, and proposes process improvements in their team or work area.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.

Good knowledge in understanding of software development lifecycle and quality best practices and toolsGood knowledge on Automation Framework Development Proficient in the use of various automation frameworks like Microsoft Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Protractor, Rest Assured, Karate etc.

Working Experience in

Microsoft Playwright

&

Selenium WebDriverKnowledge on API Testing and experience working with source code control (Git preferable) along with

Java

/

JavaScript / TypeScript coding skills.
Knowledge on implementation of continuous testing as part of CI/CD pipelineMinimum 7 years of experience into QA and Automation.
Hands-on experience with API-related technologies HTTP, REST, XML and JSON.Test automation experience.

Experience with any of the following tools & technologies:
JUnit, HTTpUnit, HTMLUnit, Selenium, TestNG,Eclipse TPTP, Rest Assured etc.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
Experience with Bug & Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center/HP ALM, Azure Test Plans etc.
