    Role Overview

    Wadhwani Skilling operates Genie AI, a cutting-edge digital platform that is designed to skill vulnerable learners and place them into in-demand jobs. The Genie AI platform leveraging high-quality digital content, Gen AI Copilots, human services, and analytics in order to support learners across each stage in the career journey: Career Advisory, Skilling, Placement, and Progression.

    We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead a new initiative called "Open Platform" that will enable strategic content partners to use the GenieAI platform. We will provide these partners with technical features and support so that they can serve their courses from within the GenieAI platform, which will enable their course learners can take full advantage of our GenAI Copilots (My Tutor for learners and My Mentor for faculty) and our human services (such as forums, expert connects, streaming masterclasses, and help desk).

    Our initial focus geographies for Open Platform strategic partnerships are India, Brazil, and Mexico, with additional countries to be added in the future.

    This Open Platform initiative has already garnered significant interest from government, corporate, and NGO partners, and we are looking for a product leader who will be responsible for driving and sustaining the initiative with the objective of accelerating learner outcomes at scale.

    Key Responsibilities

    § Conduct Need and Opportunity Analysis: Analyze partner needs and strategic opportunities in order to inform our market requirements definition.

    § Develop Product and Process Requirements: Create product requirements definitions and supplementary process documentation that enable the seamless ingestion of partner content and the configuration of effective Gen AI Copilots and human services around that content.

    § Drive Product Launch: Work with other team members from Product, Design, and Engineering to develop and release product features for strategic content partners, learners, and faculty. Subsequently, test those features in Beta with strategic content partners and with learners and faculty from educational partner institutions, and refine those features as needed before production launch.

    § Serve as SPOC with Strategic Partners: Serve as single point of contact with strategic content partners to ensure that their needs are met and that they are motivated to continue and deepen their engagement with the Open Platform.

    § Drive Product Enhancement Based on Market Data: Seek user feedback and identify enhancements for subsequent build cycles on regular basis based on feedback from strategic content partners, educational partners, learners, and faculty.

    Skills & Experience

    § 6+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years' experience in EdTech Product Management required (experience in online adult skills training preferred)

    § Proven success in developing and executing on strategic product intiatives within the EdTech ecosystem

    § Strong relationship and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership and strategic partners

    § Demonstrated product management success across the mobile web & app product lifecycle from concept to launch and adoption.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment with tight deadlines.

Candidate must have at least 3 years' experience in a Product Management role involving EdTech a. Title must be Product Manager or some similar title explicitly involving the term "Product" b. The products in question must be EdTech products 3. Candidate must be able to describe a strategic EdTech product initiative that the candidate spearheaded from development to successful launch a. This initiative must involve a set of product features that dramatically expand the customer/stakeholder base, not just features that enhanced user experience 4. Preference to a candidate who: a. Has experience working in Skilling specifically (not just EdTech generally) b. Has experience conceptualizing new products (not just leading their development) c. Has substantially more than 3 years' experience in Product Management generally and in EdTech Product Management specifically
