    Description

    Assistant Manager Corporate Accounting is responsible for supervising the corporate accounting activities, with

    constant focus on end-to-end billing process, collection & ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance to

    GAAP as well as maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to billing, collection,

    revenue accounting and accounts receivable.

    This position will also be responsible for supervising the review of existing customer contracts and new contracts,

    to establish the accounting procedure for recording revenue in accordance with policies of the parent Company.

    Will be strong liaison between India team & US team.

    Planning, directing, & coordinating all accounting activities including but not limited to ensure smooth month

    end closing activity from Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Monthly Accruals & account

    reconciliations.

    Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies, procedures and internal safeguards

    Evaluating Accounting and internal control systems

    Oversee the operations of the accounting function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate

    for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

    Train, develop and lead the accounting team with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to

    create an efficient, high functioning team.

    Provide service to internal and external clients by addressing inquiries regarding invoicing/payments/aging

    status

    Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs.

    Integrate analysis with balance of Finance team to ensure consistent financial view across the organization.

    Understand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets and

    confidentiality of all information

    Graduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree will be an advantage

    10+ years professional hands-on accounting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience

    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains AND/OR Oracle Netsuite preferred

    Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally, QuickBooks

    Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills

    Strong ability to collaborate with all levels across the organization

    Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability

    Work under stress with interruptions and deadlines

    Supporting & coordinating with onshore team based out of US offices

    Positive attitude and high on professional morale

    Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams

    Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions

    Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.

    Job requires working in mid or late-shifts and/or on Indian holidays, if required

    There may be occasional night shifts for training/reporting purposes
