    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYIdentifies qualified candidates bycoordinating resume processes preparing interview forms andconducting reference checks Respond toincoming resumes as appropriate Provides HRConsultants and/or Hotels with resumes which meet the positionrequirements Conducts screeninginterviews Providesadministrative support for recruitmentprocess Coordinates candidate interviewschedules Updates candidates on status ofselection process Drafts offerletters Handles therecruitment process for assigned nonexempt positions from beginningto end Screens and referscandidates Offers position to selectedcandidates Preparesand maintains current recruitment statusreports Maintains current statistics on openand filled positions Tracks and summarisesrecruitment costs as necessary Workers Compensationand Workplace Safety & Health Assists in the coordination of responses to EEO complaintsWS&H Union Relations and grievances by researchingsituations and gathering information asrequested Maintains record keepingrequirements of Workers Compensation as directed and providesnecessary followup Ensures Return to Workprograms are implemented and that all Workers Compensation casesare reported to Human Resources Manager Assists Department Heads in handlingemployee situations by counselling them in preparing of appropriateverbal and written communication to employeeAssists the Human Resources Manager in ensuring the quality andconsistency of performance appraisals by reviewing appraisals andcounselling Supervisors on appraisals which do not conform to Brands standards Fosters positive attitude toHotel and work environment by assisting the Human Resources Managerin planning and coordinating employee orientation conductingtraining sessions and other ongoing programsHandles transfer or reclassificationrequests Utilises leadership skills andmotivation techniques in order to maximise employee productivityand satisfaction Assists in the coordinationof wage and performance review activities of the Hotel to ensurecompliance with the law and control costsInforms employees of benefits Hotel policiesetc Conducts training sessions asrequested Administers special employeepromotions
