    We are currently seeking an experienced software engineer to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time from SaaS based applications on Altair One TM platform.

    We are currently hiring a software engineer to join our engineering team to build and maintain a secure and robust cloud-based infrastructure on Altair One TM platform.


    Job Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test and deliver complete user story with minimal supervision.
    • Collaborate on architecture and integration requirements across multiple teams.
    • Work closely with distributed teams across the world to ensure that the Altair One TM platform meets the Altair quality guidelines.
    • Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
    • Gather and analyse metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
    • Showcase POCs enabling use of new frameworks/technologies.

    Job Requirements:

    • Very good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application is a must.
    • Ability to program with one or more high level language such as NodeJS, Java, Go etc.
    • Experience in middle tier server development
    • REST Services, Ajax is a plus.
    • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
    • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, LXC is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
    • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.

    Qualifications:
