Sales Support Specialist - Service

You will be working as Sales Support Specialist – Service at global grade 13/14 and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for preparing technical/commercial brownfield /service offers based on customer requirements, local business unit and sales organization directives. Delivering high quality bid documentation meeting bid timelines.

Your responsibilities

• Being the single interface towards customer / local divisions and ensure timely and proactive communication
• Setting up and collaboration with ABB group functions, such as legal, finance, taxes and insurance
• Using experience and understanding to add to the bid plans and decision making along as the tendering process evolves
• Coordinating with procurement team and maintaining support from internal and third- party suppliers
• Analyzing project proposals cost plans and prepare for risk review
• Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates to sales organization

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in electronics and automation background
• Require 5-8 years of experience in bidding / tendering for automation (DCS /PLC/safety PLC/power management systems) solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries
• Knowledge of any one of ABB automation products like 800xA/ Harmony / Advant is preferable
• Experience in bid preparation for DCS / PLC install base upgrade / evolution / expansion will be an advantage
• Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
