    What this job involves:

    Facilities Operations

    • Ensure proper management of all service contracts, including inspections and quality management of service delivery.
    • Act as second in command for site operations and support account lead.
    • Implement a comprehensive energy management program.
    • Develop and implement building facilities management operational procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems. Regional consistency will be of importance.
    • Ensure an adequate supply of materials and services for the proper operation of the facilities.
    • Assist with the preparation of strategic plans, budgets, and client reports, including financial reconciliation.
    • Develop and implement a Preventive and Planned Maintenance program to minimize maintenance, repair, and replacement costs together with minimizing the risk of plant failure.
    • Develop and implement a property risk management system which identifies major property risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety, and essential services and environmental.
    • Inform CLIENT of all statutory notices, requirements, and regulations from Government, Statutory Boards, or other authorities in relation to the Properties.

    The role is responsible for full delivery of Facilities Management services at an independent site. The purpose of the role is to deliver good quality, cost-effective, and risk-free office environments and services to customers.

    Responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations to ensure SLAs are delivered as per agreed KPIs in the agreement.

    Responsible for zero breakdowns and 100% uptime of critical equipment in the premises.

    This is a critical position as he will be placed as site lead and will report to Facilities Manager.

    Strategic Planning

    • Strategic review of Technical services and supply contracts to determine value for the across the sites Renegotiation and tendering where necessary in accordance with contract.

    Compliance Management:

    • Follow up with Vendor partners for timely submission of compliance documents; ensure the services are imparted as per compliance.

    Financial Performance:

    • Develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and eventual profitability of the account. Contribute to global initiatives and take a leading role as required.
    • Track AP/AR, Vendor invoices, NDC.

    To lead by example and groom the team in achieving maximum client satisfaction level.

    Reporting:

    • Ensure and complete periodic reporting to meet client expectations and internal requirements as per regional standard.
    • Ensure that the team delivers meaningful inputs across the region in the development of monthly management reports.

    Leadership/Staff Management:

    • Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation, & performance excellence across the site within the account team.
    • Act as manager and a coach for the team ensuring high staff morale, trust, and work ethics.
    • As part of the senior management team, ensure there is total teamwork across various functions.

    Leading On-Site Operations:

    Are you a pro at giving on-site support Working with a team, you'll oversee the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property or facility. You'll also implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure that they are maintained at all times. Likewise, you'll boost on-site operations by promoting best practices and creating better processes. This job will also entail the question How do I ensure the safety of my colleagues You will do this by promoting adherence to health and safety standards.

    Winning Our Clients Trust:

    As the Assistant Technical Manager, you'll be working frequently with clients, so you'll need to build strong relationships with them. Likewise, you'll need to be proactive and engaging; and make sure that the clients' expectations are met each and every time. You will also be the go-to person for any facilities-related concerns.

    Keeping an Eye on Budget and Contracts:

    Do you have a solid background in finance management As the person in charge, you will take care of the site's financial operations. Also part of your job is to coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and make sure that they deliver quality work practices according to the contract, and at the right cost.

    Requirements:

    • Competent and goal-driven.
    • Three to five years of experience in managing a property.
    • An experience in managing commercial contracts and budgets may just help you land this job.
    • You'll also need to be a goal-oriented individual who's an ace in health and safety requirements, vendor management, and property technical systems management.
