Roles & Responsibilities:

 Design product packaging for individual products, products in a product line, or an entire product line

 Identify and assemble finished artwork based on the brand's visual guidelines and style guides

 Review concepts with production artists, and consult with clients, suppliers, and vendors when appropriate

 Create layouts for packaging designs, using drafting, illustration, or 3D software

 Master knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, printing techniques, and international standards

 Create mock-up and visual designs to communicate conceptual ideas to sales teams

 Optimize graphic files for online and print production, and ensure software applications are up-to-date

 Promote brand vision by consistently creating packaging that is creative, functional, and on brand

Must haves:

 Bachelor's in graphic design or a related field, or significant equivalent experience

 2+ years of packaging design experience

 Experience with commercial product packaging design

 A strong portfolio that showcases aesthetic awareness and design problem solving abilities

 A high level of proficiency using Adobe products like InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

 A basic working knowledge of screen design tools like Sketch

 Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes

 Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing.

 The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into your design work.

 An appreciation for and awareness of emerging design trends in print and digital.

 Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment
