    Job Title : Senior Reservoir Engineer

    Essential Qualifications and Education:

    • 10+ yrs. in oil and gas Industry is Mandatory
    • Degree in Petroleum Engineering

    Location : Chennai

    The primary responsibilities of a senior reservoir engineer include:

    • Reservoir Modeling and Simulation: Developing and updating reservoir models using specialized software to simulate fluid flow, predict production performance, and optimize recovery strategies.
    • Well Performance Analysis: Analyzing well test data, production logs, and pressure transient analysis to evaluate the performance of individual wells and identify opportunities for production optimization.
    • Reserves Estimation: Conducting reserves evaluations, including deterministic and probabilistic methods, to estimate the recoverable hydrocarbon volumes and assess the economic viability of reservoir development projects.
    • Reservoir Management: Collaborating with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers to develop reservoir management strategies, including well placement, artificial lift design, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
    • Field Development Planning: Contributing to the planning and execution of field development projects by providing reservoir engineering input on well spacing, drilling programs, and production facilities design.
    • Production Forecasting: Generating short-term and long-term production forecasts based on reservoir performance analysis, decline curve analysis, and dynamic reservoir modeling.
    • Reservoir Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitoring reservoir performance through regular surveillance activities such as pressure monitoring, fluid sampling, and well integrity assessments.
    • Technical Reporting: Preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate reservoir engineering findings, development plans, and performance updates to management and stakeholders.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to reservoir management, reserves reporting, and environmental considerations.
    • Mentoring and Leadership: Providing mentorship and technical leadership to junior reservoir engineers, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
