    Objective of role:

    We are looking for a Lead Product Owner for our Parts business. This person's primary responsibility will be to coordinate with all stakeholders on functional area to build digital products solving various aspects of Parts business. Stakeholder management to understand the Business Pain points and Improvement areas and implement the solution to improve the Business efficiency and productivity.

    This role will be required to proactively engage with Business, Technology Partners, Analytics, Data science and many more cross functional teams.

    This position will report to the Divisional Head of Digital Products – Adjacent Mobility.

    Lead Product Owner will own a portion of the parts business' user journey and be required to identify the right problems to be solved that will create new growth avenues. Product Owner's main duties includes but are not limited to being the customer advocate, driving the product visions, strategy, and roadmap, building, prioritizing, and managing healthy product backlogs, executing the backlog with speed and efficiency to unlock customer/user value. They are required to be thought leaders in their respective business areas and drive product innovation.

    Roles and Responsibilities:


    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define the correct user problems.


    • Responsible key aspects or product, process, people, and technology to turn product vision into reality.


    • Responsible for defining compelling product vision based on data & insights gathered from various sources. As a product owner, responsible for ensuring the short- and long-term strategy and must define the higher-level backlog items such as epics and features, etc.


    • Managing the Customer discovery, customer research, customer creation and company building lifecycle (MVP, Product-market fit and scale).


    • Driving alignment among various stakeholders for meeting the product goals. This includes, but not limited to, business, technology, legal, data, user experience, marketing, and support.


    • Responsible for all aspects of agile deliverables needed for a technology team to build great products. This involves developing user journey maps, user stories, wireframes, prioritized backlog, setting, monitoring and reporting product KPIs.


    • Responsible for identifying customer/user value proposition, go to market, cost benefit analysis for various product decisions.


    • Responsible for product quality and release goals and ensuring that the whole team rallies along to deliver in time.


    • Responsible for driving pre-release activities & post release user connects to assess product performance.


    • Interact regularly with customers to understand how our products can be improved.

    Mandatory Skills: Classification:


    Ownership: Strong prioritization and alignment skills with business, technology, customer experience to ensure the right value is delivered to customers/users. Bring ownership mentality to work and continuously look for cost effective solutions. Should have excellent project management, communication, and persuasion skills with cross functional stakeholders.


    Business orientation: Experience with building digital business models and technology for business goals.


    Product skills: Should have strong product management thinking as well as instinct to build excellent product vision, product roadmap based on clear understanding of user problems. Possess the ability to define, prioritize and link product features to pain points and value map. Should be able to work in incremental MVP based approach.


    Collaboration: Should have experience in creating user journey maps, drawing mind-maps and storyboards, writing user clear and concise user stories, and developing acceptance criteria, conduct user acceptance testing by collaborating with developers, designers, and business wherever necessary. Should have proficiency with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Teams etc... necessary for successful product management.


    Data Analytics: Excellent analytical and data driven skills to analyse qualitative user feedback and quantitative analytics report constantly to relevant stakeholders from time to time. Ability and instinct to user data-based assertions for day-to-day decisions. Comfortable with data and data visualization.


    Customer Advocacy: Ability to understand critical customer needs and problems. Research orientation to find customer needs and expectations. Ability to build and maintain channel for continuous customer connections and feedback sourcing.


    Design Thinking: Should be proficient with design thinking and Jobs to be done frameworks to identify and solve customer/user problem. Working understanding of design of experiments (DOE), ability to mine data with BI tools is a plus.


    Domain expertise: Understanding of automobile (and other related products) customer lifecycle, understanding of automobile ecosystem, both offline and digital channels. Understands Pricing, retail optimization and supply chain optimization.


    Process orientation: Have in-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology and have used repeatable process to improve backlog churn rate.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:


    • Start-up experience is a plus.


    • An MBA (Master of Business Administration) from a tier 1 institution would be an advantage.

    Education Qualification:


    • Bachelors in a technical discipline (engineering in computer science or equivalent).
