About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Inviting advertisements for both print and web media from the other trade bodies and member firms for distribution during the national and international forums /overseas embassies/ consulates / prominent trade bodies/government agencies / overseas chambers of commerce & industry/ publication of important events, etc.

2. Drafting annual calendar for organizing visits of member and non-member companies, to promote the activities of the Association

3. Completely responsible for the maintenance of IT-related activities and the AIFI website, including

4. Daily updating of news and upcoming events, business inquiries

5. Completely responsible for the timely publication of focus

6. Arranging and executing Forge Premier League across regions

7. Assisting, the Senior Manager in the arrangements of national and international conferences

8. Any other portfolios assigned by the Managing Committee from time to time

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 15th Apr'24 and 20th May'24

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Pune and neighboring cities

About Company:

The Association of Indian Forging Industry, often referred to as AIFI, is an association of industrial units engaged in manufacturing forging components in India. It was incorporated on 1st October 1965 as the Association of Indian Drop Forgings and Stamping Industries, which was later changed to the Association of Indian Forging Industry on 29 December 1995. The association is headquartered in Pune. The AIFI secretariat is based in Pune and has one core committee and 4 different sub-committees- technical sub-committee, finance, and admin sub-committee, government interface, and business development.

AIFI has members present across India. There are broadly two types of membership of AIFI. Core membership and associate membership. Core members are those members who are engaged in the forging business, while the associate members are the allied companies (vendors, equipment manufacturers, etc.) for whom forging companies are the prospective clients.
