Purpose of the position

b. What will happen if there is no one in the position (no one performs the work)?
a. The position is responsible for establishing standard work practices and productivity norms across all levels through effective line balancing , continuous improvements , VA/NVA analysis and re-defining the roles and responsibilities in order to achieve the manufacturing strategy and benchmarking targets. Controlling the family size across all the divisions /functions in order to achieve the manpower budgets. Providing various productivity reports at different level to analyze the gap between Target Vs actual achievements
Key Responsibility & Key Tasks
Estimating Manpower Requirement and Budgeting
Guide team in assessment of the work content using various Industrial engineering methods, finalizing the manpower requirement in order to budget and control the manpower numbers for the respective plant/plants.
Manpower strategy on an ongoing basis.
Plant Productivity Improvement and MIS at different Level
a) Design and develop the Productivity indicators for different departments
b) Monitoring the Productivity levels on monthly basis and send the reports to the respective agencies
c) Conduct Productivity Review meeting along with Plant Head/Mfg head for identifying the future improvement action plans in order to achieve the manufacturing strategy targets
Education
B TechBachelor of EngineeringWork Experience
Skills/Competencies Industrial Engineering techniques, Lean Manufacturing concepts,Ergonomics,Statistical Process/Quality Control Methods; Predetermined Motion Time Study Techniques like MTM (Methods Time Measurement) / MOST (Maynard's Operation Sequence Technique), Manpower Planning Process.
Relevant Experience :
10-12 years of experience
