    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Solar Power Plant Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our project development efforts, from feasibility studies through to the planning, design, and implementation stages of solar power plants. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in solar energy, project management skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory and environmental considerations.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Conduct detailed feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate solar project viability, including solar resource assessment, site selection, and environmental and social impact assessments.


    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and equipment specifications.


    • Provide expert advice on the selection of solar technology (PV, CSP, etc.), system design, and energy storage solutions.


    • Liaise with engineering teams to oversee the design and construction of solar power plants, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines.


    • Navigate regulatory and compliance processes, ensuring all necessary permits and approvals are obtained from relevant authorities.


    • Collaborate with financial analysts to prepare financial models, assess project funding requirements, and identify potential funding sources.


    • Stay abreast of advancements in solar technology, regulatory changes, and market trends to provide strategic advice on project development and expansion opportunities.


    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.


    • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and executive management.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.


    • Proven experience (5+ years) in solar energy projects, including the design, development, and implementation of solar power plants.


    • Strong understanding of solar technologies, energy markets, regulatory environments, and financial modeling.


    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.


    • Proficient in the use of project management and solar energy design software.


    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of management.


    • Current knowledge of industry standards, technology, and sustainability practices.
