Consumer Research is the leading component ofthis role so yes a PM but the CR is key
Experience withluxury brands (outside of beauty is ok) is a huge plus
Strong communication to be able to share insights confident indelivery and presentation The Consumer &Market Insight Luxe Manager places the consumer at the heart of thebrand strategic development delivering insights to feed businessstrategy.
The CMI Luxe Manager is the keypartner to infuse consumer centricity among the brand developmentteams to accelerate the Client US Luxe brands internationaldevelopment and growth (Ralph Lauren Urban Decay Youth to thePeople IT Cosmetics Kiehls).
PROJECT MANAGEMENTCapture brands CMI needsto support the design of testing strategy and plans for brand andportfolio building manage testing budget.
Execute &activate the agreed research plan: agency proposition hotdebrief/workshop global analysis/connecting dots into actionoriented recommendations.Communicate and influence highquality recommendations at the right level in the organization toimpact business decisions TRENDS ANDTRANSVERSAL INSIGHTS
Monitor consumers trends bytracking internal and external researches and insights: liaisingwith the different CMI entities keeping updates on market updatesand industry reports release
Profile:
Bachelors Degree required withconcentration in market research psychology sociology ormarketing.
67 years of experience in consumer research /consumer insights
Experience in the luxury industry(beauty clothing travel ) its codes and expressions.
Experience across an array of strategic qualitative andquantitative research methodologies: brand DNA segmentationpositioning product testing ad testing tracking studies
Experience in supporting brand development is preferred
Experience in beauty industry is preferred Skills
Analytical and syntheticmindset ability to synthesize data & insights across multiplesources of information
Sensitivity to brand equity brandpositioning and targeting.
Strong sense of curiosity andquestioning passion for innovation.
Strong verbal andwritten communication skills; ability to structure and deliversuccinct and concise presentations.
Ability to work withremote and diverse teams
Organized structured and ableto manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping theobjectives and timings in focus.
