Role Purpose :Responsible for the delivery of both marine and offshore projects with a planned initiation, execution, controlling and completion of the project on an agreed schedule and budget by leading and guiding project management teams, overseeing resource allocation and yard infrastructure usage.

KeyResponsibilities :

• The role is to manage managers by providing direction and guidance to them in the planning, organizing, and controlling of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives.
• Integrate harmoniously various functions across the yard in a multi-discipline work environment to achieve the common production objectives.
• • Assist the Production & Operations departments to manage the effective achievement of divisional objectives through the departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities.
• Oversee the yard manpower availability for various projects and allocate according to the most optimum usage to achieve project delivery dates.
• Responsible for complete execution of offshore operations and coordination across various department to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
• Ensure proper housekeeping across the yard and safe practices are adopted by the departments in their process and provide feedback to the COO on issues promptly.
• Control the Project cost, Schedule & Quality through project management tools by leading project managers, project planners and yard production department heads.
• Establishes all shift production schedules and allocation of yard facilities / plants / infrastructure to meet delivery schedules.
• Prepares annual budgets, projections, quarterly reports, including capital budgets for the yard production departments.
• Determines plant improvements and repairs along with annual costs and schedules.
• Develop procedures in risk management, scheduling and project execution in line with project requirements.
• Develop, implement and monitor project management procedures methodologies as required performance reviews with regular project meetings, track and monitor the budgets, project execution plans, change management, client management are effectively managed on the projects.
• Identify and communicate any potential risk involved in the project execution phase to the departments and customers.
• Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the division in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Performs other related duties or assignments as required in order to ensure the continuous operations of the division.

Competencies :

• Knowledge of ship repair and offshore building structures in the capability of project management.
• Good knowledge on budget planning, Client management, contract management, maintaining HSEQ on projects, understanding of commissioning management.
