Builtx Sustainable Design and Construction (Builtx SDC) is a pioneering AEC company dedicated to sustainable construction exclusively for non-profit organizations. We are looking for a Senior Architect with significant expertise in healthcare and education projects to lead our design team. This critical role involves managing high-impact projects from concept to completion, mentoring junior staff, and pushing the envelope in sustainable and innovative architectural practices. The Senior Architect will have the opportunity to head groundbreaking projects that not only meet but exceed our non-profit partners' visions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of complex architectural projects, particularly in healthcare and education, setting new standards for sustainable construction.
• Manage and strengthen client relationships through regular updates, presentations, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment of project goals with client expectations.
• Conduct comprehensive site evaluations and feasibility studies to optimize design solutions, while overseeing the development and adherence to construction documentation.
• Mentor and develop a team of junior architects and interns, promoting a culture of learning and innovation within the firm.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in architectural design, advocating for the integration of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable materials in our projects.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, environmental standards, and best practices in sustainable design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architecture, with a focus on healthcare and educational facilities, preferably in a Tier 1 architectural firm.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Advanced proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Exceptional project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Deep commitment to sustainability and passion for social impact in architectural design.
