    Role Description

    This is a full-time onsite role for a Hardware Design Engineer in Gandhinagar. The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day development and design tasks related to hardware, electronics, circuit, and hardware architecture. The role will involve collaborating with the team to create innovative solutions and ensure the functionality and reliability of hardware systems.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in Hardware Development, Electronics Hardware Design, and Hardware Design
    • Proficiency in Circuit Design and Hardware Architecture
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work in a team and efficiently collaborate
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of software programming and integration is a plus
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

    Duties

    • Should be able to ideate, build and guide POC mechanical setup
    • Should be able to understand the requirement and problem statement, think the possible solution and then do hands-on or guide the team to build the setup
    • Should be able to perform scientific experiments e.g. if N number of camera/sensors are kept as option then designing experiment to select best one
    • Should be able to plan and handle the logistics
    • Should be able to talk to vendors, share the requirements and collaborate to develop new products
    • Should be able to take POC to production and design aesthetically appealing solution
    • Understanding of pricing of different components used in designing, POC and fabrication so that can optimize unit cost economics
    • Understanding of hardware components so that he can collaborate/guide the hardware team
    • Plan the inventory and place the order aprior for smooth production of machine
    • Get the feedback from test team and fix the reported issues in the machine
    • Should be able to fabricate machine from CAD design
    • Should be able to solve problems related to machine design
    • Find faulty components in defective products to fix them

    • Weld and solder pieces together
    • Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product
    • Aligning components and connect them with bolts and screws
    • Work with collaborative robots (cobots) to produce and assemble components
