    We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional as an international HRBP for the global Technology function, reporting into the Head of HR for Group Operations and Technology who is situated in the Netherlands. To be successful in this pacey environment you will need to be a real self-starter, proactive with a high level of resilience.

    The HRBP will lead the tactic and strategic people agenda for the global Technology function and will collaborate intensively with Tech Leaders and Local HRBP partners globally. The role will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading the HR strategy in support of the technology function and add value to line managers and employees in delivering a HR agenda covering all aspects of employment relationships. The role is responsible for employee engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, enquiry resolution, people matters, and priorities as determined by the Technology Leadership Team. This role will strongly collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition and is also key in ensuring the business remains compliant with employment legislation whilst minimising disputes, grievances and employment tribunals.

    Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)

    • Support the Technology Function and lead the ambitious plan to continue hiring significant number of technology employees in Global Client Delivery (India, Philippines and Mauritius)
    • Deliver a coherent and seamless talent management plan
    • Act as a 'trusted advisor' responsible for coaching and advising leadership on business HR matters and act as a conduit between the business and the other services offered within HR (i.e. Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Performance Management)
    • Work with Tech Leaders to facilitate and ensure a seamless and efficient engagement and on boarding experience for new hires and prospective hires
    • Advise and consult with line managers to ensure understanding of HR policies, procedures and benefit plans
    • Manage the gathering and accuracy of employee information on HRIS to support the needs of the business whilst providing sufficient access to all necessary data and reports
    • Provide training, guidance and support to managers and employees with regards to annual programs such as performance and compensation review programs, and irregular processes such as end of probation, performance management, or development
    • Develop and support the implementation of reward and recognition mechanisms. Help managers reward and recognize good performance and support the annual pay review process all Technology employees globally
    • Manage complex employee relations issues from identification to effective resolution, to foster a positive employee relations climate including liaising with third party advisors as necessary
    • Engage and liaise with HR colleagues and specialists to address and resolve HR related issues
    • Participate in global HR projects

    Qualifications

    Education / professional qualifications

    • Degree level education in social science preferred and/or
    • Relevant professional qualification
    • Minimum of 7 Years HR Generalist/HR Business Partner Experience in an international environment, preferably in technology

    Skills and knowledge demonstration

    • Successful at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and creating partnerships at all levels
    • Highly developed understanding of the importance of client service both internally and externally
    • Natural communicator with a passion for sharing information
    • Demonstrated experience in driving people engagement initiatives
    • Ideally a background within a global, matrix organisation, ideally within financial or professional services
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to motivate and influence the work of others that do not report directly
    • Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, policies and procedures
