    Job brief

    We are looking for a person with the dual role: Technical Architect with Technical Project manager capabilities In the API Vertical team, reporting to the Global lead the person will have the following responsibilities:

    Roles & Responsibilities

    · Build and Support efficient and reusable API's and services for an enterprise API layer

    · Work with Services development team

    · Lead and participate in code reviews of API's and API platforms

    · Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues

    · Resolve impediments, guide Peers / juniors team members technically.

    Technical/Functional Skills

    · Expert knowledge of Java, Springboot, APIs

    · Microservices – Architecture experience on AWS cloud

    · Experience with API design using Open API specifications, Swagger documentation tools

    · Experience in deployment of API's using one of the well-known API gateway tools like IBM AP connect or Apigee

    · Experience of working with modern CI/CD and engineering tooling is a bonus – Serverless Framework, Github CI/CD

    · Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · API monetization strategy and governance

    · Experience in leading 2 to 3 team members and reporting the status to manager.

    · Strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written.
