    Job Overview
    Role: Agile Product Coach
    Location: Mumbai
    The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of an Agile Coach. This role will report into the Senior D&T Manager, Transformation & Portfolio Management in India and functionally collaborate with global project management office team. It is an Individual contributor role.

    In this role, you will join a team as Agile Coach to work on Agile Transformations across the organization in standing up new scaled agile programs and the importance of product mindset. You will also work across diverse roles, lines of business, and at all levels of the organization. You will work with Product Owners, Pods, and Leaders on Product: vision, mission, personas, objectives & key results; Agile: mindset, values, servant leadership, self-organization, and practices.

    You have demonstrated excellence in at least one of the following areas: Agile Mindset & Value, Scrum, SAFE, product management, coaching, design thinking, user experience, product design, team building, Lean, customer experience, training, and/or facilitation.
    Agile Product Coaches need to sense and respond to group situations, requiring exceptional listening, discernment, experience design, and written and verbal communication skills. Our ideal hire has a diverse and ever-expanding toolkit of methods to get groups to shared understanding, possibly including: Product definition, developing personas, story mapping, product and team chartering, forming working agreements, visualizing work, product definition/discovery, wicked problem solving, appreciative inquiry, innovation games, or others. We welcome a diverse range of professional and educational backgrounds.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Will develop partnership with Product Owner to define their product, know their users, and prioritize their backlog.

    • Serve as embedded coach/leader to Product teams to educate and influence the adoption and scaling of Agile Delivery Model.

    • Experience on Product Teams with process, product, or technology/DevOps.

    • Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging Agile best practices.

    Responsibilities
    Coach & Train:

    • Embed as a coach on one or more Product teams to influence, educate, and coach team members, leaders, and business stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices related to process, technology and/or product.

    • Develop, implement, and promote Agile best practice standards including the use of metric boards and tools where appropriate.

    • Educate and influence leadership, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and SMEs on their role in supporting teams

    • Demonstrate good technical understanding of how to build and deliver software solutions

    Communicate:

    • Provide transparency to stakeholders regarding the progress of adoption of Agile principles and practices

    • Document, report and promote quantifiable business benefits resulting from Agile transformation efforts

    • Share learnings with other Agile coaches to elevate skills and knowledge of coaching team

    Must - have technical skills and experience

    • 7-10 years prior experience as an Agile Product Coach or change influencer leading a variety of several change efforts or transformations. Experience in software products/solutions with a broad range of experiences across development, testing, analysis, and operations

    • Strong knowledge of various Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc)

    • Product experience preferred

    • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning and process management skills

    • Strong leader with business acumen and strategic focus

    • Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills

    • Strong servant leader able to lead and work with multiple diverse roles and personalities

    • Ability to work collaboratively and inspire teams

    • Ability to influence and lead change

    • Ability to interact with Senior Leadership

    Good to have skills

    • Experience in consumer food industry considered a plus, especially in Supply Chain or Commercial functions.

    • Experience of working with international markets and business partners
