    Job Description :
    8+ years of telecom industry experience with confirmed software design, development and test skills

    • Excellent handson Network Management/Automation domain, Java and Webservices based
    • Handson experience with Optical technologies (DWDM&OTN), including Cisco NCS40xx, NCS20xx, NCS10xx devices/networks configuration.
    • Working knowledge of SNMP, TL1, Syslog, HTTP, REST, JSON, XML, NETCONF/YANG etc.
    • Handson expertise of database, ORM (hibernate) and UML/modelling technologies
    • Good knowledge of Software Engineering practices, Tools and automation frameworks.
    • Good understanding and experience with Quality, Software validation and Automation practices.

    Job Description :


    We are seeking a talented Java Developer with expertise in Optical domain, Network Management, and Automation to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java programming, Web services, and a deep understanding of Optical technologies such as DWDM and OTN.

    Additionally, experience with Cisco NCS series devices (NCS40xx, NCS20xx, NCS10xx), along with protocols like SNMP, TL1, Syslog, HTTP, REST, JSON, XML, NETCONF/YANG is required.


    Responsibilities :

    • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for managing and automating Optical networks using Java and related technologies.
    • Implement network configurations and management functionalities for Cisco NCS series devices (NCS40xx, NCS20xx, NCS10xx).
    • Integrate with Optical technologies such as DWDM and OTN to ensure efficient network performance and scalability.
    • Utilize protocols like SNMP, TL1, Syslog, HTTP, REST, JSON, XML, NETCONF/YANG for effective network communication and management.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure software quality through testing and deployment.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Extensive experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Web services and RESTful APIs.
    • Proficiency in Optical networking technologies including DWDM and OTN.
    • Handson experience with Cisco NCS series devices (NCS40xx, NCS20xx, NCS10xx) configuration and management.
    • Familiarity with network protocols and standards such as SNMP, TL1, Syslog, HTTP.
    • Knowledge of data formats and serialization techniques including JSON, XML.
    • Experience with NETCONF/YANG for network configuration and management.
    • Expertise in database management systems and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks like Hibernate.
    • Strong understanding of Software Engineering practices, including design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
    • Proficiency in UML modeling technologies for system design and documentation.
    • Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools for software development and testing.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    • Experience in the Telecom or Networking industry, particularly in Optical network management.
    • Certification in Java programming or related technologies.
    • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
