    Description

    ServiceNow Development and Support Consultant

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Assist the system management team with ServiceNow development and support activities.
    • Work on standard catalog item creation and modification requests.
    • Act as the first point of contact for all incidents assigned to the ServiceNow ITSM team.

    Detailed Job Description:

    The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and their functionality, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Act as the first point of contact for all incidents across multiple ServiceNow modules.
    • Resolve easy incidents and escalate more complex incidents to the appropriate team.
    • Assign incidents to the correct team based on the issue.
    • Communicate with users to gather additional information about incidents.
    • Document incidents in ServiceNow and track progress until resolution.
    • Identify trends and patterns in incidents and work with the appropriate teams to implement preventative measures.
    • Provide regular reports on incident trends and resolutions to management.
    • Continuously improve incident management processes and procedures.
    • Create knowledge articles for known errors and FAQs.
    • Create or update catalog items and workflows.
    • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
    • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and their functionality.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
    • Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
