    About the company

    Our client, one of the world's leading producers of key Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and generic formulations, is seeking a VP - Brand Management for emerging markets to join their team. As VP Brand Management you will be Responsible for leading the Brand and Therapy team from a marketing strategy perspective. This position will be based in Hyderabad and will report to the Marketing Director.

    Job Description

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to enter and expand the Brand and Therapy presence in emerging markets.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to align market entry strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.

    Brand Management:

    • Oversee the adaptation of brand strategies for emerging markets, ensuring relevance and cultural sensitivity.
    • Manage brand positioning, communication, and image in new markets.
    • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to create effective brand awareness campaigns.

    Marketing and Business Development:

    • Drive Marketing initiatives to achieve revenue targets in emerging markets.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in these regions.
    • Support the sales team, providing training and support to ensure proficiency in emerging market dynamics.

    Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and needs in emerging markets.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategies and decision-making processes.

    Product Development and Adaptation:

    • Work closely with the product development team to tailor products to meet the specific needs of emerging market consumers.
    • Ensure that product offerings align with local market regulations and cultural norms.

    Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets for market entry and expansion initiatives.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance in emerging markets, making adjustments to strategies as necessary.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to achieve excellence in brand management and sales.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    Who can apply?

    Our client is looking for someone with core expertise in Pharmaceutical Industry. An Ideal candidate would be someone with:

    • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing
    • 20+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical marketing
    • Core Brand Management and Brand Development expertise
    • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
    • Experience in emerging markets (LATAM, Middle East, CIS, Russia, Asia, and Africa) is preferred.
