    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    We are currently seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Calgary, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative and customer service support. In this position, your responsibilities will include maintaining open lines of communication with suppliers and customers to swiftly address and rectify any issues, damages, or irregularities. Additionally, you will handle freight payables with precision and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Your organizational skills will shine as you assist in composing and distributing internal and external correspondence, and you will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while processing financial transactions.     ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • We are seeking someone who is capable of the following:
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients as first point of contact and work to establish a positive rapport with every caller
  • Customer liaison regarding general inquiries, customer complaints, etc. to ensure follow up is carried through to customer satisfaction
  • Follow up with freight carriers and Traffic and Customs Manager to ensure freight terms are met for payments
  • Back up support to admin department as needed
  • Job Type: Full-time
