- This role will be partof the data strategy team spanning across the client s CapitalMarkets and securities teams Americas Division s brokerdealer andswapdealer entities.
- This role will requireindirect leadership and mentorship of junior team members
- This role will be involved in the analysisdesign and development of the data platform beginning with theestablishment of a reference data system for securities and pricingdata and later moving to other data domains
- This role will be part of the core developmentteam and will need to follow internal developments standards tocontribute to the overall agenda of the team
- 7 years of experience in a large& complex application development environment preferably inthe financial services industry and on dataheavy applications andsystems
- Good understanding of equities andfixedincome instruments
- MS SQL server RDMS andstrong SQL skills
- 5 years of programmingexperience in Python and Java
- Experience withthe DevOps lifecycle (git Jenkins etc.)
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Experience designing and architectingdistributed systems
- Experience with REST webservices and microservice architecture
- Goodunderstanding of ETL/ELT
- Experience with Cloudsolutions is preferred (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with GRPC and protobuf ispreferred.
