    Description

    Overview

    The Senior Software Engineer will maintain and enhance our current suite of internal applications and data gathering spiders.

    Essential Duties and Functions

    · Maintaining and updating existing C# .NET websites and applications.

    · Reviewing and debugging C# .NET applications

    · Develop software by analyzing business requirements; conferring with management and users; analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

    Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

    · 5-7 years experience in C# .NET development

    · Great Candidates Will Have

    · Experience building and maintaining ASP.NET sites and C# windows forms apps

    · Ability to write SQL queries with Microsoft SQL Server

    · Understanding of HTTP protocol and how web requests are constructed

    · Excellent troubleshooting skills

    · Passion for writing clean, performant code

    · Familiarity with distributed version control (git and mercurial) and github

    · Bonus Points For

    · Experience with Windows Server Administration, including IIS and SQL Server

    · Experience with ES6, Coffeescript, Bootstrap, Node, Ruby, Rails, Sass, and Postgres

    · Experience with client-side javascript frameworks like backbone, react and angular

    · Design sense for developing simple intuitive user interfaces

    · Experience with Telerik Controls.
