The Role: Associate Director, Software Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team developingand maintainingdata-driven applications on the front and back end with an emphasis on Data Science, Ai, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and help in translating them into technical specifications for effective software solutions.
• Project estimation and feasibility assessment
• Architectural design
• Adhere to best practices in data management and governance, maintaining awareness of data privacy and security policies.
• Contribute to the identification, design, and implementation of process improvements.
• Understanding what best in class looks like and how to stay on top

What we're looking for:

• 10 + years experiencein data-driven software engineering as an individual contributor and manager
• StrongPython engineering skills.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field
• A commitment to test-driven development
• Devopscompetence around things like Github Actions, continuous delivery, and automated testing
• Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and exploration
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. The team will be collocated, however, most stakeholder engagement will happen asynchronously in English
• Experience with Sales, HR, Finance, and other internal corporate functions is a plus
