Designation: Collection Executive

Our Client are seeking a dedicated collection agent to assist our business with the recovery of outstanding payments from debtors. In this role, your duties will include communicating with customers via telephone, negotiating payment plans with debtors, and enacting payment plans that eliminate debt.

Accomplished collection agents will mitigate financial losses by developing and enacting manageable debt recovery plans.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating on debt collection efforts with Accounts, Sales, and the Legal Department.

Contacting debtors by telephone and by visiting the Addresses to enact and negotiate debt recovery.

Preventing repeated payment delinquency by negotiating manageable debt payments.

Negotiating settlements to receive payment on a certain percentage of the debt.

Keeping hard copy and electronic records of all communications, payment plans agreed to, and amounts paid.

Initiating legal and repossession proceedings if debt recovery fails.

Qualification & Experience Work Experience:

Bachelors degree or equivalent in finance, business, or related field.

2+ years of experience in Field Collections.

Individuals should have Strong and powerful communication skills.

Individuals should have Strong build and personality.

Knowledge/ Skills:

Extensive experience in working as a collection agent within a financial institution.

Sound knowledge of collection practices, regulations and procedures, and telephone mannerisms.

Solid understanding of repayment schedules and bad debt management.

Proficient in preventing losses, controlling delinquent balances and collecting delinquent accounts.
