Job Description:

Leadership and Strategy:

• Develop and execute the IT department's strategic plan in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
• Provide visionary leadership to the IT team, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for IT improvement and growth.

Team Management:

• Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff, including managers, engineers, and support personnel.
  •Establish performance metrics and evaluate team members' performance regularly.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Budget Management:

• Create and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements while maintaining high-quality services.

Project Management:

• all IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Implement project management best practices and methodologies.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.

Security and Compliance: and Compliance:

• Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO

Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:

• Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide IT solutions that support their goals.

Infrastructure and Technology

• Assess, plan, and implement IT infrastructure improvements, including hardware, software, and networking.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of IT systems.
• Monitor system health and resolve issues promptly.

Reporting and Communication :

• Prepare and present regular reports on IT department performance and key metrics to senior management.
• Communicate IT strategy, initiatives, and progress to non-technical stakeholders.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate IT-related risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and confidentiality

Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (relevant certifications and experience may be considered)
