    About the role:

    Wiley's Market & Publishing Analytics team is looking for an innovative and hands-on data administrator to support the integration, curation, maintenance & management of the publishing ecosystem, workflow & reporting data. As a data administrator, you'll drive data quality, discoverability & understanding, deliver automation and data capabilities that accelerate our insight delivery.

    This role requires attention to detail, a passion for accuracy, and practical experience with APIs, automation and scripting, SQL, Python, an understanding of data warehouses, and data modeling.

    How you will make an impact:
    • Ingest, curate, and maintain data for use in reporting.
    • Create automation to support data management & monitoring.
    • Apply data modeling, data management, data cleansing, data enrichment, and data standardization techniques
    • Maintain a suite of reporting tables to support MPA and wider Research business needs.
    • Work with Data Product Owners to ensure that data is mastered in the correct area.
    • Work with other business teams to define needs and discover data sources and masters.


    What we are looking for:
    • Degree in computer science or related field
    • 2+ years of relevant work experience
    • Analytical nature, very high levels of attention to detail
    • Collaborative team working
    • Ability to work to deadlines
    • Able to work independently to identify and prioritize areas of focus
    • A history of improving processes, procedures
    • Technical Skills: SQL, PowerBI or similar, basic Python, process automation, scripting, using Data Warehouses (e.g. Snowflake)
    • Scholarly publishing experience; knowledge of Wiley's business models a plus
