    Description

    Job Summary

    This role is responsible for procuring goods and services required in Renewable Energy Projects (Solar, Wind, BESS) that meet the organization's quantity and quality expectations.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Purchasing of materials and services for Renewable Energy Projects;
    • Preparing detailed techno-commercial RFQs, evaluating and negotiating purchase orders/contracts with vendors;
    • Sourcing new and reputed vendors in existing categories;
    • Costing for upcoming projects related to materials/services;
    • Planning with project management teams for project requirements;
    • Coordinating with various teams for company-specific procurement requirements;
    • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and sourcing new products;
    • Auditing vendor manufacturing facilities/project sites;
    • Determining appropriate pricing by comparing available goods with industry trends;

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 6 years of experience in Renewable Energy Project Procurement;
    • At least 2 years of experience in Procurement of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Module and/or its components for an Independent Power Producer (IPP), Renewable Energy Project EPC Organization or PV Module Manufacturer;
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputable institute;
    • MBA in Supply Chain is an added advantage;
