JobOverview:

As a Product Designer for our FurnitureHome Decor and General Merchandise Trading Company you will play apivotal role in conceptualizing designing and developingaesthetically pleasing and functional products. This positioninvolves collaborating with crossfunctional teams and foreigndesigners staying abreast of industry trends and ensuring that ourproduct offerings align with market demands and customerpreferences.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Conceptualizationand Design:
• Develop innovative and appealingdesign concepts for furniture home decor and generalmerchandise.
• Create detailed sketchesrenderings and 3D models to communicate designideas.
• Trend Analysis:
• Stayinformed about current design trends materials and technologies inthe furniture and home decorindustry.
• Incorporate market trends intoproduct designs to maintain a competitiveedge.
• MaterialSelection:
• Research and select appropriatematerials based on aesthetics functionality and costconsiderations.
• Collaborate with suppliers tosource highquality and sustainablematerials.
• Prototyping andTesting:
• Oversee the development of prototypesfor new product designs.
• Conduct testing andgather feedback to refine and improveprototypes.
• Collaboration with CrossfunctionalTeams:
• Work closely with the sales marketingand production teams to ensure alignment with businessgoals.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure thefeasibility of designs.
• CostManagement:
• Collaborate with the procurementteam to optimize material costs without compromisingquality.
• Explore costeffective manufacturingprocesses.
• ProductDocumentation:
• Prepare detailed designspecifications including material lists and manufacturinginstructions.
• Maintain comprehensive productdocumentation for reference and qualitycontrol.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorsdegree in Industrial Design or a relatedfield.
• A minimum of 68 years of relevantexperience in a trading company as a 3D Designer specializing inHard Goods and Soft Goods.
• Proven experience asa product designer preferably in the furniture and home decorindustry.
• Proficiency in design software suchas AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar tools.
• Strongknowledge of materials manufacturing processes and industrytrends.
• Excellent communication skills (Verbaland Written) and the ability to interact effectively inEnglish
