    Description

    We are looking for a PHP Team Leader with strong hands-on experience in developing security-based domain projects/products and a passion for Linux-based web development. This role involves leading a team of developers, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring project delivery within timelines. The ideal candidate should be currently engaged in web-based product development and must possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage a team of PHP developers through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
    • Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance web applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
    • Guide the team in using best practices for secure coding and development on Linux platforms.
    • Review code, conduct code audits, and enforce quality standards.
    • Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
    • Handle project planning, task assignment, and delivery monitoring.
    • Provide technical mentorship and support to team members.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • 4–8 years of experience in PHP development, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Experience in developing security-focused applications or working in security domains.
    • Strong knowledge of web-based application development and Linux environments.
    • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
    • Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX.
    • Experience with version control systems like Git.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    Good to Have

    • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Knowledge of web application security standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
    • Experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, SOAP).
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
